(Wife of Wallace PREYER )

Hattie Mae Jeffery Preyer (1930 - 2013) Hattie Mae Jeffery Preyer (1930 - 2013)

On February 27 2013, Hattie Mae Preyer of Columbia Missouri, at the age of 82, after a long battle with heart disease, has walked into the light of God. Her light here on earth is to shine no more. Her soul is now in the hands of our Lord.

Born in Pascola MO, Hattie was a true southern woman with a very big heart. She was the type of woman that many grew to call Mom. She was a great cook and homemaker, a person whom could make a friend no matter where she was, she loved to laugh and garden, a friendly conversational woman with a sweet disposition and a kind inviting smile, a woman that was just as fiery as she was nice, a woman that was quick witted with a sharp tongue whom spoke from her heart, a giving and loving woman whom offered her home to all, she sacrificed for her children as well as anyone whom needed a helping hand. Hattie enjoyed children, as she has touched many children in her life, and she would treat each as if they were her own, which has given her a very large extended family. She was a woman with a passion to sing for the Lord that could bring back that old time religion in her beautiful soulful voice.

She was married to Wallace Preyer on April 5, 1952, God blessed this couple with 9 children, 25+ grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
